Honest moment here...I used to be so afraid of senior sessions. I felt like it was a lot of pressure to get the photos just right and make sure the teens were having fun and mom was always in the background judging every little thing I did! Fast forward 12 years and I LOVE senior sessions. I love making them feel special and capturing their personalities. I love getting them out of their comfort zones and asking an absurd amount of questions to make them talk to me. I love being goofy and not afraid to do what it takes to get a laugh! And mostly, the older my son gets, I have realized, those moms behind me...they aren't judging me...they are taking it all in and realizing the fact that their baby is all grown up!
When Amanda called me about doing Owen's senior pictures, I had to literally pick myself up off the floor. I remember this guys as a little rugrat...not a senior in high school. We had so much fun exploring all that Decatur has to offer. Then we hit Monroe and Adams Central's Minnich Field for football pictures and the pool for swimming photos. BUT, my favorite part of his whole entire session is that Owen has a cat. He LOVES that cat. So his dad brings the cat onto the football field so that Owen can get senior photos with his cat. Literally my favorite memory ever!!
Thanks Connelley's for the memories over the years and for the cat memory! I will never forget it! I appreciate you supporting my small business and in turn, my family!
